Vice President Employee Retention
Position OverviewÂ
As Seamless.AI’s Vice President Employee Retention, you will shape our innovative culture and engagement programs throughout the US. You will play a pivotal role in building our employee engagement function, delivering programming to maximize employee retention and build a best-in-class culture. Your success will be measured by your ability to help create and maintain an exceptional employee experience, strengthen employee retention and deliver programs and processes that continually engage our teammates.
What you’ll do:
- Create an employee-first company and culture that supports the scale and development of our team.Â
- Works closely with management in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives at the business unit or division level.
- Ensure the delivery of Seamless.AI’s People proposition including increasing employee engagement, reducing voluntary attrition, improving diversity metrics, deployment of leadership development, and consistent career management processes.
- Facilitates professional development and training activities for departments.
- Lead and develop Employee Engagement strategies and activities to ensure Seamless.AI is continually assessing and improving its management and leadership practices to ensure highly engaged workforce.
- Design, deploy and manage all aspects of Employee Engagement Surveys, including communicating results, designing action plans and ensuring execution of the same.Â
- Own and report employee engagement-related metrics, insights, and KPIs to stakeholders. Provide business leaders with data, findings, and recommendations of client organizations' "health" by assessing trends in performance, employee engagement, manager feedback, attrition and turnover, etc.
- Drive improvement to employee retention and deliver programming designed to maximize retention.
- Manage a team responsible for all aspects of employee onboarding, training, engagement and total rewards
- Support the hyper growth of the company in a predominately remote based environment.
Main areas of responsibilityÂ
- 12+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee engagement, retention and overall employee satisfaction.Â
- Strong business acumen: Recognizes and enjoys the business side of business. Has knowledge about the organization’s operations and how employee engagement affects each. Approaches problem solving from a business-first perspective
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of employees. Demonstrated experience and a passion for strong collaboration with others
- Change management skills: Ability to add value through change management; help pivot the culture and improve the overall effectiveness of the business and teams
- Resiliency: A successful candidate must be resilient in building relationships with the business executives, exerting pressure when pressure may be needed, but also choosing their priorities carefully. You are comfortable in ambiguity and can pull relevant components out of complex situations to connect the dots and make sound decisions - you know when to ask for help
- Analytical Skills: Comfort with data and using data to provide insights to help advise and influence business decisions
- Project Management skills: establish project objectives, analyze data, prioritize responsibilities, execute project deliverables, track and measure to successful completion
- Bias for action: Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence

- Retention – as measured by increasing tenure and no turnover of strongly performing talent we strive to retainÂ
- Culture - create a best place to work as defined by employee engagement scores and feedbackÂ
Ideal ExperienceÂ
- SaaS industry or very closely related industry experienceÂ
- Experience developing engagement programs in small to medium-sized companiesÂ
- Successful experience in implementing employee engagement and retention programs in a dynamic organization is critical
-Experience managing teams of direct reportsÂ
- Ability to think strategically - Developed and implemented processes to scaleÂ
- Functional experience outside of HR (such as sales, marketing, software, production, quality, engineering, accounting, etc.)Â
-Bachelor’s degree
