ExtraHop is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and financially minded individual for the VP, Finance role, reporting directly to the CFO of ExtraHop. This is a highly visible, high impact role in a fast-paced and rapidly growing enterprise cyber analytics business.  ExtraHop’s technology monitors our customers’ applications, networks, and other information technology to optimize performance and protect from cyber-attacks, with offerings in the cloud, on hardware and software on-premises, and with hybrid software-as-a-service deployments backed by advanced machine learning. Â
The VP, Finance will lead ExtraHop’s finance team providing business insights and analysis to drive data driven decision making throughout the organization. The individual will drive consolidated financial planning (short and long-term), business modeling, and KPI metric continuity. The candidate should be a self-starter, have strong problem solving and analytical skills, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to communicate effectively with executive business partners. The VP, Finance is a key member of the CFO’s leadership team, as well as a critical business partner to the entire C-Suite and private equity investors. Â
Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted financial partner to the business leaders and their teams driving thoughtful revenue and expense planning, as well as accountability to the outcomesÂ
- Develop presentations for Board of Directors and executive level reviews that provide key insights to favorable and unfavorable trends, risk & opportunities, and financial transparency into the businessÂ
- Own the short and long term financial planning modeling for all three financial statements including sensitivity analysis on the range of outcomes
- Partner on cross functional teams to drive strategic business initiatives, investment cases, etc.Â
- Partner with the Corporate Controller on the financial close process to ensure accuracy of financial results
- Produce highly accurate and insightful reporting packages that distill business trends, explaining key drivers of both financials and business metrics
- Extract incremental value out of existing systems/tools to provide deeper insights into business results and improve planning accuracy and predictability of underlying business drivers
- Build, mentor and manage the Finance team with a multi-faceted approach to business scalability, employee career development, and value-add insights to the business
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is required; MBA or CPA preferred
- Private equity experience highly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, executive presence, and relationship building skillsÂ
- A skilled change agent focused on enabling the business to drive growth and scale
- Successful at building and developing high performing finance teams, while ensuring an appropriate balance between business needs and career development of employees
- Experience with SaaS/Cloud financial planning and modeling; an expert in Microsoft Excel
- Comfort working in a variety of technology applications including systems such as Adaptive Insights, Netsuite, Salesforce, or similar
