You will oversee our user growth strategy and oversee all marketing efforts to acquire, engage and retain buyers on the StockX platform. This highly visible, senior role will lead a team of marketers charged with growing our global customer base across paid, organic and owned channels. Success will be measured not only against net growth, but also the efficiency of marketing spend and the cultivation of long term profitable relationships. Critical to your success in this role will be managing a high performing team, driving results at all stages of the customer journey, seeking improvements throughout the Cx, partnering successfully with key stakeholders like finance and product, and effectively communicating across and up within the company.
- Buyer Acquisition. You will oversee the internal performance marketing agency tasked with growing our buyer base efficiently across all StockX markets, by setting global strategy and guiding execution with a strong data and results orientation. Your scope will include: conception and execution of full funnel, multi-channel acquisition strategies; budget development and management; media planning, buying and execution; campaign development, ROI measurement and optimization across channels -- including leading thinking about incremental and margin returns. You will be charged to continually seek out new and innovative approaches to ad tech, measurement, creative, channels, targeting and customization.
- Buyer Engagement & Retention. Accountable for developing long term profitable relationships with our buyers, you will oversee all Engagement & Retention activities. This includes developing lifecycle communication strategies and tactics; managing the calendar of marketing and transactional customer messages; owning a robust testing roadmap to optimize buyer outcomes; and driving toward a vision of personalized, relevant, and dynamic buyer experiences across all channels. You will partner closely with product and engineering to make technology decisions, plan and execute tests across channels, and to prioritize and execute our CRM roadmap.
What you'll do
- Acquisition Team
- Lead SEO strategy and drive cross-functional execution across Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
- Create and implement innovative full-funnel acquisition strategies & campaigns across key performance and brand channels
- Ensure brand integrity, with consistent pricing, offers, messaging and creative across acquisition channels
- Develop and build robust testing and optimization plans
- Partner with technology, data analytics, and product teams to develop and implement proper site and mobile tagging, data (cookie) structures, marketing tech stack -- as well as to evolve the user experience on-site that will optimize conversion
- Develop a clear and disciplined reporting protocol to ensure that customers are acquired sustainably and profitably. This includes the whole spectrum of “growth health metrics” from forecast development, to campaign analysis and optimization, to media mix modeling and ROI analysis, to attribution through a close partnership with FP&A and data analytics teams
- Engagement & Retention Team
- Develop and lead execution of our CRM strategy across email, site/app, and push, including advanced campaign segmentation strategies that deliver truly personalized experiences
- Oversee development and execution of communications strategies and a tactical communications calendar to achieve the business objectives
- Continuously optimize timing, frequency, cadence, and type of communication at the individual member level and priority segment level with a data-driven test-and-learn roadmap
- Lead partners in product, engineering, marketing, and analytics in defining and implementing the CRM tools and vendors that are necessary for scale and efficiency (ie marketing automation, campaign management, data integration, etc)
- Manage agency and vendor relationships and continually seek to grow and evolve our CRM technical capabilities by leveraging new third party systems and partnerships

- Synthesize multiple data points to provide actionable insights that lead to iteration of forward thinking campaigns that capture new audiences and re-engage existing ones.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to drive alignment and ensure that our strategies and tactics are best-in-class, performant, and optimized
- Lead rapid experimentation of new channels, campaigns, creative, incentives, and approaches
- Develop clear campaign reporting framework and cadence
- Develop and manage the annual plan and budget and, in collaboration with FP&A, adjust plans monthly based upon realized return on investment
- Manage outside Agency partners and internal cross-functional partners effectively to achieve goals, and drive constant improvement in results
- Manage, train, nurture and inspire a high performing growth marketing team
About you
- 12+ years of experience in growth marketing
- 7+ years experience leading a team, including global team members
- Experience working in hyper-growth and scaled tech companies
- Strong marketing instincts and proven track record of shaping and executing successful user growth strategies across acquisition and retention, with deep understanding of key platforms
- Strong analytical background and ability to synthesize, analyze and interpret data and transfer into actionable strategy
- Strong leadership presence; serves as a senior leader within a company, influential with a cross-functional group of stakeholders and can create buy-in with technical and operational teams
- Proven people leader having built strong and diverse teams with high employee engagement, high EQ and strong focus on people development.

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $250,000 to $300,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
