About the Job:
Upside is growing and is in search of an organized and ambitious Vice President of Sales Enablement. This strategic learning leadership role is a unique opportunity to join a company thatās revolutionizing how personalized promotions can drive revenue for merchants in a scientific way. In this role, youāll be responsible for growing and leading the Sales Enablement team, to enable the acceleration and scaling of the Sales and Account Management functions. What youāll do:
- Build and grow the Sales Enablement team to support the growth and evolution of sales and account management at Upside
- Identify and define the requirements to accelerate and scale sales and account management
- Work directly with sales leadership to oversee and help build and maintain vital resources to equip the sales organization to engage prospects and clients (e.g. sales playbooks, messaging, collateral, sales skill modules, etc.)
- Help install or build sales methodology to create a consistent selling framework across sales teams
- Identify tools and other support capabilities required to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency
- Partner with product and product marketing staff on targeted content and upskilling efforts
- Support sales leadership on team needs assessments and prioritized interventions designed to support growth strategies
- Focus on quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure progress and impact to suggest necessary ongoing enhancements
- Identify and define best practices that can be systematized and scaled across the business
- Create and drive plans for the training and development of sales teams, including onboarding, role transfer, and ongoing learning and education
- Implement sales methodology across all verticals and teams
- Continuously update training and onboarding based on data-driven performance insights and research
- Define measures of success for sales enablement and learning interventions with demonstrative positive impact to business goals and objectives
What you need:
- 8+ years of proven experience in sales management and/or sales enablement, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity
- Track record of building successful enablement programs and curriculum development
- Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative problem-solving experience, including turning quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations and business strategies
- Strong communication, leadership, and influence skill set
- Ability to collaborate and develop strong credibility with Sales and cross-functional leadership to become a trusted advisor and business partner to all
- Experience working with sales tools including Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, and others
- An adaptable and agile demeanor that allows for new ways of thinking and solving problems
