About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and highly motivated VP of Technology. Reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, the VP Technology will spearhead the systems and applications our employees need to be successful and ensure high levels of performance and availability in our cloud environments. This leader will serve as a transformational technical and people leader providing insights to the executive leadership team on technology, process, and tools advancements for our global cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and efficiency is at the forefront of strategic conversations, and building and leading a world class technical team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a multi-disciplined, high-performance organization – provide exceptional leadership in developing highly engaged, high-performance cloud and corporate IT teams to deliver against departmental and company objectives. These teams will be a mix of internal and external resources.
- This leader will serve as a transformational technical and people leader providing insights to the executive leadership team on technology, process, and tools advancements for our global cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and efficiency is at the forefront of strategic conversations, and building and leading a world class technical team
- Set a roadmap and deliver short term and long term goals
- You must understand the demands of managing a 24x7 application at large-scale
- Collaborate with other parts of the R&D Engineering and Security teams to produce and support tech solutions
- Make a large impact across the company through business deliverables and continuous innovation
- Responsible for our AWS and Azure envs in US, EU, and AUS including items such as patching, NOC, networking, and security implementations.
- Oversee the Litmos internal apps, including ownership for E2E business applications as well as client & infrastructure services
- Solution for the business, act as a trusted advisor for the leadership and consult the business and interpret specifications to develop, maintain and support business processes
- Manage the IT Service Provider(s) and oversee service delivery, including application management services, application development services and user support
- Focus on business value, user experience, security and compliance and drive related projects
What you Bring:
- 15+ years of hands-on technical management and strong experience in developing and architecting serverless, containerized, and portable cloud applications with GCP, Azure or AWS services
- Experience with Office365, Salesforce, Boomi and related security tools
- Ability to analyze system metrics and other types of data to draw insightful conclusions
- Master’s degree or equivalents in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technical Engineering, Economics or related field
- Strong familiarity with DevOps & SRE best practices to improve velocity and operational reliability
- Ability to lead & drive to deliver great results
- Excellent understanding of E2E business processes
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Desire to work in a team-driven and collaborative setting
