Job Description

First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a VP, Sales who will oversee our retail sales channel from end-to-end, including P&L, sales roadmap and strategies, trade and promotion, and sales operations. A successful candidate will conceptualize a clear, cohesive sales strategy, focusing on key existing markets while applying innovative approaches to expand our reach to grow new memberships in new territories.

 

The VP, Sales should be one that is analytical and understands how data possess the ability to identify and communicate specific opportunities. They will monitor and analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies, including staffing needs, in a meaningful manner.

 

This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the Chief Experience officer and is based in Hollywood, CA. The minimum and maximum salary range for this position is $192,556.79 to $288,835.19 in California. The target starting hourly rate is between $192,556.79 and $240,695.99.

 

Responsibilities


· Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

· Identify new sales opportunities and build client relationships.

· Partner with stakeholders and set sales targets and forecast sales volumes.

· Oversee daily, monthly and quarterly sales activities and goals and report to stakeholders, including board members as necessary.

· Implement infrastructure and process to properly evaluate and track performance and progress.

· Regularly analyze sales performance data and implement strategies for improvement.

· Closely monitor market trends and provide regular competitor analysis to leadership team.

· Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and member needs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to design, implement, and execute on operational business strategies that will drive meaningful revenue growth and establish footprint in market.

· Provide leadership and oversight for the sales team, including mentoring, coaching, and development to drive goal attainment.

· Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

 

· Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.

· Master's degree in a business-related field a plus but not required.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales leadership position in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field.

· Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience in a SMB environment.

· In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.

· Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.

· Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

· Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

· In-depth knowledge of Credit Union or banking products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.

· Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities. Ability to read, speak and write clearly to convey information effectively.

· Effective communication skills across all levels of audience.

· Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Symitar for Windows (Episys).
