The OpportunityÂ
Mosaic is seeking a Warehouse Collateral Manager to join our Treasury and Capital Markets Team. Our team is responsible for the market execution of the organizations funding programs, notably issuance of Asset Backed Securities, structuring of Loan Sale/Forward Flow Agreements and Warehouse Financings.
This role is focused on the management of collateral assets (consumer loans) among our financing partners and related funding vehicles. The Warehouse Collateral Manager will be responsible for the optimization of collateral amongst these facilities and related cash flow forecasting. This position will require an intimate understanding of our financing products and lending structures to efficiently re-balance these assets on a daily basis to maximize liquidity.Â
An ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of working as part of a fast-paced remote team.Â
Someone who possesses a passion for problem solving, has superior analytical skills and can think outside of the box. Has a deep interest in data and metrics but can also think strategically and keep sight of the bigger picture. Has an entrepreneurial drive and technical insight to identify gaps and drive process improvement initiatives.Â
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Complete a daily review and reporting of collateral assets composition and trending
- Direct movement of collateral assets according to financing agreements, and management to various financing terms (ie. ineligibility criteria, concentrations, etc)
- Design, implement, and maintain a collateral asset allocation model for cash flow forecasting
- Partner with internal departments on collateral movements, and ensure reconciliation of disposition across all systems
- Complete monthly reconciliation of assets to appropriate eVault
- Manage loan repurchase process across all facilities
- Aid in Capital Markets financing transactions, providing intel and oversight of collateral for optimization of credit and sale terms
- Support Treasury Operations with Servicer Reporting as required
- Support deployment and adoption efforts of automated treasury software solutions
- Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements and efficiencies; maintain process documentation and support business continuity planning
- Collaborate closely with other functional departments including Accounting, Finance, Capital Markets, Loan Operations, and IT
- Performs troubleshooting and ad-hoc analyses as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you bring to the team
- B.A or B.S in Finance, Economics is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, financial analysis and forecasting
- Experience in finance or capital markets, working on loan sale transactions and securitizations
- Experience with reading financing transaction legal documents
- Advanced Excel skills, specifically working with large datasets
- Ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with Finance, IT and Loan Servicing teams
- Experience with Loan Servicing Systems
- Ability to represent the organization professionally and to cultivate and maintain relationships with funding and capital partners.
- Solid work/team ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Banking and Capital Markets products
- Experience working with quantitative models
- Prior experience in consumer lending
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
