Web Manager, Remote

Job Overview:
The Web Manager for the Marketing team will oversee the development, design, and optimization of Just Right Reader’s digital presence. The Web Manager will ensure that our website effectively supports marketing strategies, enhances user experience, and drives engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate is highly technical, creative, and data-driven, with a proven track record in managing web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Development and Maintenance:
• Lead the migration of our website to the HubSpot platform, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal performance.
• Manage website functionality, performance, and updates to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Oversee content management systems (CMS) and ensure content accuracy and timeliness.
2. SEO and Analytics:
• Implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
• Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform optimization strategies.
3. Content Management:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure website content aligns with branding and messaging.
• Optimize landing pages, blog posts, and other digital assets for conversion and engagement.
4. Web Design and User Experience (UX):
• Ensure website design is visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for usability.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve user experience and site performance.
5. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support and resolve website issues promptly.
• Work closely with IT and developers to implement new features and updates.
6. Compliance and Security:
• Ensure website compliance with legal standards, including privacy policies and accessibility guidelines.
• Monitor website security and implement best practices to safeguard data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience managing websites and web-based marketing initiatives.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.
