Job description
Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and technically capableWebsite Project Managerto lead the development, launch, and ongoing improvements of our Magento 2.0 eCommerce platform. This role requires strong communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills—plus a working knowledge of HTML or JavaScript. You'll work closely with internal teams and third-party developers to ensure timely, efficient delivery of site updates, features, and fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full lifecycle of our Magento 2.0 website project—from planning to post-launch optimization.
• Manage tasks and timelines using project management tools such asSmartsheetandBasecamp.
• Serve as the main point of contact for third-party developers and coordinate all development efforts.
• Translate business requirements into technical documentation, tickets, and workflows.
• Conduct thorough QA testing for new features, bug fixes, and integrations before deployment.
• Ensure site performance, speed, and functionality are maintained across devices and browsers.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog and assist in sprint planning and milestone tracking.
• Monitor Google Analytics (GA4) and other performance tools to inform decisions and measure results.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience managing eCommerce or web development projects (Magento 2.0 strongly preferred).
• Working knowledge of HTML and/or JavaScript; ability to understand basic front-end functionality.
• Experience working with and managing third-party developers and contractors.
• Proficient inSmartsheetandBasecamp, or similar project management tools.
• Strong ability totroubleshoot and problem-solveacross digital environments.
• Proven track record inintegrating complex digital systems, including APIs and 3rd-party tools.
• Experience with QA processes and attention to detail in testing environments.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and eCommerce tracking best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with UX/UI collaboration (e.g., working alongside designers or using tools like Figma).
• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and tagging strategies.
• Previous work in a consumer goods or direct-to-consumer eCommerce company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 per year
