You want to contribute to a colossal product .ResponsibilitiesThe Windows Platform Product Manager will take a lead role in designing and executing the communication rhythm for the team. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving alignment of planning timelines across multiple orgs and ensuring that the platform team has clarity around key milestones.
Responsibilities include:
- Independently delivering regular communication to enable thousands of engineers to stay informed of priorities and timelines as they deliver the platform for the world's most widely used operating system.
- Collaborate with peers across the company to coordinate planning and engineering activities.
- Partner with the broader Microsoft planning community on key activities including OKRs, engineering reviews, and planning.
The Product Manager will be an individual contributor reporting to the Windows Platform Planning Principal PM and will have the opportunity to work with amazing people from across Microsoft. This role requires a high degree of professionalism and is grounded in collaboration with others across organizations and with diverse work styles.QualificationsYou are an ideal candidate if you have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of project/program/product management experience; ability to manage multiple, high-stakes projects and deliverables simultaneously across workgroups and stakeholders.
- 5+ years' experience driving and coordinating large-scale projects and communications to engineers and executives.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, you should also possess the following characteristics:

- Strong customer/stakeholder focus.
- Strong technical acumen to dive into tools and create solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience delivering software in Windows or Windows-related products.

- High level of comfort working independently.
- Superior problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Proven success delivering written and verbal communications and presentations to engineers and executives.
- Competency in cross group collaboration, attention to detail, and process development and execution.
- Experience independently driving and coordinating large-scale projects and communications.
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
