The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:
Workday HCM Configurator/Lead role will provide planning and execution guidance and knowledge to simplify the Workday Core Human Capital Management (HCM) modules implementations across RTX Business Units and Functions. This role will also be responsible for establishing Workday adoption and governance for new capabilities enablement in support of various stakeholder and Business Unit groups.

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:
Workday HCM Configurator/Lead role will provide planning and execution guidance and knowledge to simplify the Workday Core Human Capital Management (HCM) modules implementations across RTX Business Units and Functions. This role will also be responsible for establishing Workday adoption and governance for new capabilities enablement in support of various stakeholder and Business Unit groups.
Core Competencies/Experiences:
- Plan, execute and monitor Workday HCM Core projects across RTX with an eye on supportability and successful operational transition into production
- Coordinate with other functions on delivering Workday and separation projects.
- Conduct working sessions with Human Resources/Center of Excellence Functions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions
- Demonstrate configurations through the use of prototyping for the emerging Workday modules and capabilities
- Advise Human Resources team on industry standards for Workday modules in order to provide suggestions to achieve streamlined processes
- Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
- Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams
- Lead coordination for the training and other events that help share knowledge and skills with other team members
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Successfully having completed at least 2 Workday modules implementation PM/Lead/Manager role
- Basic knowledge of AGILE methodology and practices
- 4 year College Degree and 6+ years of experience meeting above competencies | 3+ year deploying Workday, 3+ years in a lead role, management role or in a role coaching others
- Some travel required, approximately 25%.•
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certification in Workday Core HCM
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional Center of Excellence teams and Workday Customer Success Manager/Account Executives
- Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems, detailed/analytical skills (high attention to detail)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
- Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others
- Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrated capability to work across functions/organizations
