WPP have selected Workday as their innovative HCM, Finance & PSA (Professional Services Automation) system of choice to meet changing demands and roles will be instrumental in rolling out and servicing one of the most exciting Workday programmes for a global business right now.

We have an opening to hire a Workday Training Lead, reporting into the Senior Change, Communications & Adoption Lead. The Workday Training Lead will manage a team of subject matter expert trainers, training support and eLearning specialist



What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with team leadership to evolve an existing training framework and lead the implementation of a comprehensive training strategy for the WPP Workday deployment
  • The refreshed training strategy should cater to different learning needs, formats and scenarios across the Workday implementation lifecycle and transition to business as usual (BAU)
  • As part of the refreshed training strategy, manage the launch and cutover to the Learning Management System (Totara) as an eLearning platform for agencies that creates a positive employee experience of onboarding to Workday ways of working
  • Conduct training delivery and create supporting materials (for example, how-to-guides) where required
  • Line management, coach and develop of training team members
  • Own and manage the training team’s delivery of core activities and plans integrated to the change management plan that rolls up to programme plan. I.e. training needs assessment, planning, content creation, validation to meet requirements, delivery, tracking and continuous improvement
  • Provide thought leadership on training and learning best practice and industry trends
  • Optimise training recommendations based on program planning, insights from change management, functional leads and engagement data
  • Define and implement data-driven approaches for metrics and insights to guide decision making and planning
  • Ensure training is engaging and accessible manner for audiences with consistent tone, style and key messaging
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues and opportunities
  • Ensure training assets are kept up to date, version controlled and standardised to required levels
  • Engage in weekly governance meetings
  • Willingness to knowledge share and ad hoc advisory to wider WPP Transformation programmes
  • Create a culture of trust, collaboration, communication, and respect

Who you'll be working with:

The Workday Training Lead will report to the Senior Change & Adoption Lead.


What you'll need:

  • Experience of large scale, complex training strategy development and delivery
  • Ability to implement Global-to-local approaches
  • Fluency in Office 365 applications for content development and delivery, other training software a major plus
  • Experience with building and deploying Learning Management Solutions
  • Project management/planning and oversite of team task delivery
  • Highly organised and collaborative for integrated delivery cycles
  • Customer service mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Team leadership and people management
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, reactive environments
  • Learning and Development qualifications
  • Workday, ERP and Finance expertise desirable
