This is a Washington Air National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Non-Bargaining Unit Technician position. The appointment is permanent, excepted service. Military Grades E1 - E7 are compatible. Applicants must be assigned to a compatible Military position and attain AFSC within 1 year. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Membership in the WA Air National Guard is required for continued employment. The position requires ability to establish effective professional working relationships. Overtime may be required. The duties significantly impact the environment. General experience in HR or business programs is required. Specialized experience of at least 24 months is needed. High School Diploma or GED is required. Military Technicians are ineligible for enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses. Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions.
