The hospital is a 162-bed Community Hospital, part of CHS, and is a Recognized Level III Trauma Center. It employs Medhost EDIS EMR and is transitioning to CERNER by September 2024. The hospital functions as a teaching hospital, hosting various medical students. The coverage areas include Teleradiology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Tele-Intensivists, Ultrasound, Hospitalist, General Surgery, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Tele Neurology, Neurology, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Hospitalist program handles 40-50 patient encounters/day and follows a 7 on and 7 off model with 12-hour shifts for both Physicians and APPs. Candidates must be residency trained and BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
