The intern will study existing solutions for bidirectional electric vehicle charging control (such as expert rules, Model Predictive Control, and stochastic programming), develop a bidirectional electric vehicle charging control module within a building equipped with a microgrid (solar panels and stationary battery), and validate the developed solution through simulations on a simple use case. Once the operation is validated, the intern will analyze the results of the studied use case and draw conclusions for the SRI. The intern should have a Master's degree or engineering diploma in Automatic Control/Electrical Systems/Energy Systems, be proficient in French and/or English, and have knowledge of Matlab/Simulink programming, control and optimization, simulation, electrical/energy systems, and software development. The internship duration is 6 months, starting in Q1 2025.
