The Advanced Practice Nurse position is located in the Clinical Resource Hub at the West Haven campus. This position is full time at 40 hours per week. Learn more about this agency. All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. The position requires an Advanced Practice Nurse Nurse Practitioner with a postmasters certificate or masters or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner, and must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant. The position also requires a license and certification as an APN NPs must possess and maintain an active current full and unrestricted APN license to practice as an NP in a State Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia. Basic Certification is also required. The position is open to applicants who meet the qualification requirements and are willing to serve a probationary period. Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process and must pass a pre-employment physical examination.
