Solid Power is a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This position will work closely with the other production operator /technicians and engineers to help set up, operate, tear down equipment used in slurry preparation, coating, electrode fabrication and cell assembly operations.Job Duties:Operate automated and semi-automated machinery.Follow detailed instructions, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.Setup, operate, tear down, clean and maintain various production equipment including slurry mixers, media mills and inspection equipment to meet throughput demands, with rigor and attention to detail.Follow standard operating procedures for the cleaning and maintaining of Solid Power’s production equipment.Work safely with hazardous materials.Assist in maintaining production equipment, workspace, and dry room/clean room in proper working conditions following 5S protocol.Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning and maintaining of Solid Power’s production equipment.Qualifications/Requirements:1+ years’ experience in a lab or manufacturing environment is preferred.High School diploma or equivalent.History of stable employment and performance.Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Hands-on experience working with hazardous materials, dry powder processes, and wet chemical/slurry and solvent-based operations.Experience with battery unit operations is desirable as is clean-room experience.Preference for candidates with experience running mixing and coating.Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Responsible and self-motivated.Salary Range: $24.05-$30.29/hourBenefits: Solid Power offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical/dental/vision insurance, employer paid Life/AD&D/STD/LTD insurance, 401k with company match, paid holidays, PTO, cell phone reimbursement and eligibility in our equity incentive and bonus plans.LI-OnsiteNo soliciting from staffing agencies.
