The Physician, under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, provides primary healthcare services for Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHC). The employee is expected to be professional, punctual, maintain regular attendance, cooperative, organized, and enthusiastic. The Physician also shares on-call duties, adheres to medical ethics, assures quality of care, and participates in committees as requested. Supervisory responsibilities may include supervising mid-level providers. Qualifications include a Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school, completion of a residency training program, and board certification or eligibility in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is desirable.
