Recreation Assistant (Facilities Operator) NF-02

Summary This position is located at the Army Community Recreation Division at Victor Constant Ski Area. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued, accounts for monies collected, safeguards funds and makes daily bank deposits. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use and monitors proper usage. Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Prepares work order for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help. Monitors inventories and number and condition of items on hand. Inspects equipment when turned in and collects pre-set fees for damages. May be requires to drive a motor vehicle as needed. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Work hours may involve weekday, weekend, holiday and night duty. This position is dual compensation exempt; All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position. Must have and retain a valid drivers license. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated ability to perform the following duties: secure facility, issue equipment to customers, collect fees (ex: registration for trip, payment of rented equipment etc.), and monitor inventory (ex. Supplies, equipment etc.). 2. Must have and retain a valid drivers license. The above experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
