Android Engineer - Customer Engineering

Our team mission is to improve the entire Customer Support infrastructure to help our Customer Care team, operations team to the deliver exceptional experiences while continuously improving the whole journey - for both User/Patient and Clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve the mobile experiences for Biofourmis mobile apps
• Partner with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap
• Coordinate with cross functional teams (Backend, DevOps, Design etc.) on planning and execution
• Proactively manage stakeholders communication related to deliverables, risks, changes and reliance
• Provide technology leadership to the team and foster engineering excellence

Requirements

• 4 - 6 years' experience in Java and Kotlin based Android native development. Kotlin is highly preferred.
• Must have very good understanding of Android Architecture and Indexing.
• Up to date with the releases of IDEs, SDK, Android Developer Tools, Android architecture components, Android application components.
• Experience with Android UI design
• Use of Android Architectural Components
• Should be familiar with design patterns like MMVM, Retrofit, Gson/Moshi, image loading frameworks like Glide/Picasso, dependency injection frameworks like Koin/Dagger2, Kotlin coroutines, etc.
• Good in Git-based repository management.
• Building automated test cases is an advantage.
