Apprentice Carpenter

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to learn the trade of carpentry while working alongside experienced professionals in various construction environments. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of carpentry tasks. Duties • Assist skilled carpenters in performing tasks such as framing, trimming, and door hanging. • Participate in tile laying and fixture installation projects under supervision. • Help with plastering and roofing activities as needed. • Learn to read blueprints and building plans to understand project specifications. • Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe construction site. • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required for various projects. • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use. • Follow safety protocols to minimize risks on the job site. Experience • Previous experience in a construction environment is Required • Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, including plumb, build, trim carpentry, and fixture installation is advantageous. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions accurately.
