Armed Security Guard

Schedule Wednesday-Sunday 3PM-10PM Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong presence, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Armed Guard will utilize surveillance techniques and maintain vigilance to prevent unauthorized access and deter criminal activity. Responsibilities • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies. • Conduct thorough inspections of premises, including surveillance of CCTV systems. • Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques. • Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents. • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Skills • Valid certificate in armed security or law enforcement training. • Experience in loss prevention strategies and techniques. • Strong conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly. • Proficient in surveillance operations, including the use of CCTV systems. • Background in military or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. • Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is an asset. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
