Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. Thousands of companies use Bevi to sustainably provide their employees with pure, sparkling, and flavored water at work. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, we’ve raised over $160M in venture capital and we’re doubling year over year. In addition to maintaining hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.

We are looking for a Boston-based Director to manage and grow our BDR (Business Development Representative) team. The BDR team is currently a team of six with plans to grow to 12 within the next six to nine months. Our Director of Business Development will support our nationwide Sales team with a competitive, self-driven attitude and creative, analytical mindset. We have built a consistent and reliable sales model to rapidly expand across the country and are looking for a strategic leader to scale our opportunity pipeline and fuel growth. This role is based out of our Boston (Charlestown) office and reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the team to consistently achieve monthly goals
  • Recruit top talent, lead training for new hires and continually coach existing team members
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing Operations to build reports, lead analysis and come up with creative insights to better manage the business
  • Be a power user of tools like Salesforce, Pardot, Apollo, and other automation tools
  • Test various targeting criteria such as industry, region, company size, and job title to help the team identify and convert qualified leads
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver a steady funnel of business opportunities
  • Take your job seriously, but not yourself

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience training, coaching and developing a business development or sales team
  • Experience with similar sales programs - most notably B2B SaaS companies - is highly preferable
  • Enjoys getting into the numbers and getting your hands dirty with the team
  • An entrepreneurial mindset. We’re looking for a self-starter with high operational acumen, looking to make a big impact in a quickly growing organization
  • Proactive, strong sense of ownership, and eagerness to learn and adapt
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical abilities
    • Passion for our mission to eliminate plastic bottles and cans
    • 4-year Bachelor's Degree
