LOCATION:
The Business Development Representative position is a remote, work from home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Candidates who live in the following States will be considered:Â CT, IL, MA, NH, NJ, PA, RI, VA, FL, GA, MN, OR, TX, AZ, ME, NC, OH, SC, TN. Some travel is required for client meetings or other internal meetings, conferences, etc.
THE ROLE:
Acceleration Partners (AP) is the largest independent affiliate marketing agency in the world, with over 200 employees across the globe. We are looking for a Business Development Rep to join the team to drive new conversations with a view to developing new business opportunities. The Business Development Rep (BDR) is the initial outbound contact for potential new business clients. The BDR helps develop sales in the US region through several outbound/self-generating methods and techniques. Within this role a key aspect will be to ensure our values, culture and high standards are maintained throughout the early business development process. We have high expectations of growth which the Business Development Rep will play a key part in delivering successfully. The Business Development Rep will report into a Business Development Team Lead and the Sr. Director of Program Strategy of the US region. The ideal candidate would be based in one of our hub locations and would have the ability to work from home; all our roles are remote working roles.
TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Generation: Build, manage and execute a new business pipeline. Create new target leads that meet our qualifications.
- New Business Development: Prospect new leads by putting in place strategic communication, establishing rapport, and nurture process to arrange meetings that lead to new business wins.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Quickly learn and stay on the cutting edge of the Partner and Affiliate Marketing space.
- Ownership:Be able to experiment with different mediums & techniques to establish a consistent and scalable way to generate qualified leads within key sectors. Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Sales Administration: Follow all documentation, tracking protocols, and processes required in Salesforce and other tools used in the role
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
By six months:Â The Business Development Rep has built a strong sales pipeline of business in the US. We would expect the Business Development Rep to be engaging with 100-200 new contacts per week and scheduling 10-15 intro meetings per month.
At the end of year one:Â Has assisted in the signing of new Clients for the US business and achieving set targets and objectives, has a strong pipeline and is building strong, quality relationships with key industry clients and businesses. Consistently setting intro meetings with new prospects and holding calls to qualify business when necessary, with those intro meetings leading to new clients.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-3 years experience in a related role (Sales, Marketing, Client Facing)
- B2B experience highly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
