Business Systems Analyst - Finance (AR Automation)

HubSpot is hiring a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our FinTech Systems team and take end-to-end ownership of our Accounts Receivable (AR) technology stack. This is a technical systems role not an AR operations position. You will be responsible for implementing configuring integrating and optimizing the tools workflows and automations that power HubSpot’s invoicing payments collections and cash application processes.

As HubSpot scales we are investing in our first dedicated AR automation platform (e.g. HighRadius Billtrust Versapay Tesorio or similar). You will play a critical role in evaluating vendors designing system architecture leading implementation and serving as the long-term system owner. This includes configuring workflows integrating the platform with NetSuite and HubSpot’s internal systems managing enhancements and optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

You’ll partner closely with Finance RevOps Product and Engineering to understand pain points in the quote-to-cash process translate business requirements into technical solutions drive automation initiatives and ensure seamless data flow across our financial ecosystem. What You’ll Do

System Implementation & Ownership

• Lead the implementation configuration and integration of HubSpot’s new AR automation platform (e.g. HighRadius Billtrust Versapay Tesorio).

• Serve as the long-term system owner responsible for workflows business rules user management and system governance.

• Build and maintain integrations with NetSuite HubSpot CRM and payment processors.

Configuration Automation & Optimization

• Configure AR system workflows cash application rules collections logic and dunning processes.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Workato UiPath Zapier or workflow engines within ERP/AR tools.

• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues data discrepancies and integration failures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Finance Accounting RevOps Product and Engineering to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to align strategies and ensure systems support business goals.

Data Reporting & Analysis

• Use SQL Looker or similar BI tools to analyze AR performance (e.g. DSO cash application rates collections efficiency).

• Diagnose root causes of system or process breakdowns using data-driven insights.

Continuous Improvement

• Manage JIRA tickets for enhancements and defects ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Drive best practices for AR technology process scalability compliance and financial accuracy.

• Serve as the AR systems subject matter expert for future FinTech projects.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

• 1–3+ years in a Business Systems Analyst Finance Systems Analyst ERP Analyst or similar systems-focused role supporting Finance or Accounting teams.

• Hands-on experience configuring or administering AR billing or finance systems such as: HighRadius Billtrust Versapay YayPay/Quadient Tesorio NetSuite (AR/Billing modules) Workday Sage Intacct SAP Oracle ERP Cloud.

• Familiarity with quote-to-cash order-to-cash and AR lifecycle workflows (invoicing → payments → collections → reconciliation).

Technical Skills

• Experience with system implementation UAT workflow configuration and integrations (API middleware).

• Experience using automation tools (e.g. Workato UiPath Zapier) or ERP/AR workflow engines.

• Ability to write basic SQL queries and analyze data using Looker or similar BI tools.
