Carpenter / Tradesman – Healthcare Renovations & General Construction Location:Lower Westchester & Bronx, NY Job Type:Full-time / Part-time Compensation:Based on experience and availability (open for discussion) About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilledCarpenter / Tradesmanto join our construction team. This position involves work on healthcare renovation projects and general construction tasks, including both interior and exterior work. Job sites are primarily located in Lower Westchester and the Bronx. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with general carpentry and construction tasks and can work efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and teamwork are key, as well as attention to safety in active healthcare environments. Responsibilities • Frame wood and metal stud walls. • Install, assemble, and hang doors, frames, and hardware. • Assist with drywall installation, millwork, trim, and general finish carpentry. • Support setup, cleanup, and organization of job sites. • Work collaboratively with other trades and supervisors. • Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, especially in healthcare settings. Qualifications • Prior experience in general carpentry, framing, and light construction. • Ability to read and follow basic drawings or instructions. • Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in quality workmanship. • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical labor. • English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. • Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
