Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials, including plastics. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production standards are met while maintaining high-quality output.
Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate parts accurately.
• Utilize Mazatrol programming for efficient machine operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
• Fabricate components from various materials, including plastics for injection molding applications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
• Proficient in CAD software and SolidWorks for design interpretation.
• Experience with Mazatrol programming is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of lathe operations and machining techniques.
• Ability to fabricate parts with precision using various machining tools.
• Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers for quality control checks.
• Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
