CNC Milling Machinist

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to set up and operate horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers. In this role, your proficiency in G-Code and precision measurement will be crucial in enhancing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality output. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and product excellence.Responsibilities • Set up and operate Horizontal & Vertical machining centers to produce precision parts. • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to accurately machine components. • Edit and optimize G-Code programs to improve machining efficiency and quality. • Inspect first-piece parts using precision measuring tools (pin gages, micrometers, calipers) and make necessary adjustments. • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to exchange technical information and drive continuous improvement. • Accurately track job times and production data within the ERP system. • Adhere to Good Machining Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean, safe work environment.QualificationsRequired Skills • High School Diploma or equivalent technical school certification. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, with a basic understanding of GD&T. • Strong knowledge of G-Code programming and editing. • Experience using precision measuring tools (pin gages, micrometers, calipers). • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.Preferred Skills • Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) such as Mazak, Haas, or Doosan. • Familiarity with CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) such as Mazak. • Knowledge of 5-S program initiatives.
