Construction Laborer

Job Overview: We are seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, performing tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and general site cleanup. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. Responsibilities: • Operate a variety of hand and power tools. • Working knowledge of general labor skills • Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches. • Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt. • Follow all safety procedures on the job site. • Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis. • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment. • Minimum of 2 years experience in general labor • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures • Digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling trenches/holes • Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans • Assisting skilled tradesmen in their duties • Responsible for daily jobsite clean-up • Ensure safe work environment • Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and suppliers/vendors • Other maintenance duties that arise Skills & Requirements: • Physical strength and stamina • Ability to lift 50lbs. • Self-starter • Positive, Can-do Attitude • Open to direct instruction • Flexibility for changing tasks and assignments • Willingness to learn new skills and attend technical training • Willingness to travel if the need arises ---On the job interviews will be performed and compensation will range dependent on experience.
