Content Marketing Manager

LeanIX is a fast-growing SaaS company whose continuous transformation platform supports enterprise architecture management, SaaS management, and value stream management for 700+ companies like adidas, Volkswagen, Dropbox, Santander. With a headquarters in Bonn, Germany, LeanIX has a global presence and a rapidly expanding footprint in the United States.

We are looking for a content marketing manager to join our team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B technology marketing, excellent writing skills, and experience managing a variety of content projects.

While many ads for content marketing managers contain a laundry list of job requirements, most beginning with “develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy in support of all GTM efforts, etc.”, this one does not. Rather than looking for someone to do the job of five people, we’re looking for someone to do the following:

• Work to make the LeanIX blog a valuable destination for IT professionals interested in all aspects of enterprise architecture management and software development. This will include creating a blog calendar, finding and managing blog contributors, editing blog content, and promoting the blog on all relevant channels.
• Support the development of targeted content assets in support of the US sales organization by managing content production and handling editorial needs across the process.
• Collaborate with the director of content marketing and the rest of the content marketing team to evolve the content strategy as the needs of the business and our customers evolve.

Frankly, there is a lot to do here. And the ideal candidate will undoubtedly end up contributing to a variety of content, messaging, and copy projects. But if that candidate only did the above, that would be plenty!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 3-5 years experience in a content marketing role
• Experience writing and editing blog posts
• Experience creating and maintaining a blog calendar
• Project management experience from kickoff to final delivery of content assets, including video (we have an in-house design team, so you won’t have to do that!).
• Experience with social media management, particularly around content promotion
• Solid communication skills including the ability to interview customers and subject matter experts
