Custodian/Maintenance

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks. Responsibilities • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. • Carry out painting tasks as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities. • Assist with commercial cleaning projects, ensuring adherence to Department of Health standards and regulations • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and performing deep cleaning as required. • Support facilities maintenance efforts by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties. Qualifications • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is required • Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving items as necessary. • The ability to pass a Department of Health background check If you are passionate about maintaining clean environments and possess the skills outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
