Job Title: Customer Care Specialist – Team Lead Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Hybrid (Tues–Thurs in-office) Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour (DOE) Location: Los Angeles, CA About the Role A fast-growing cosmetics company is seeking a motivated, customer-centricCustomer Care Specialist Team Leadto join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you’ll act as a key liaison between internal teams and major retail accounts, ensuring orders are processed accurately, shipped on time, and customer concerns are resolved efficiently. You’ll also lead and support a small team of Customer Care Specialists, ensuring performance standards are met while promoting a positive, solutions-oriented team environment. Key Responsibilities • Ensure 95%+ Unit Fill Rate (UFR) across all customer orders • Review and correct customer orders before entering into ERP system (Sage) • Generate and manage pick sheets, labels, shipping docs, and pickups • Coordinate with warehouse partners to prioritize urgent orders • Communicate proactively with Sales and customers about order issues or delays • Minimize order shortages and generate short reports as needed • Process invoices and EDI files accurately and resolve invoice discrepancies • Provide daily support and coaching to Customer Care Specialists • Monitor team workload and maintain compliance with internal procedures • Recommend and implement workflow or process improvements • Interface with retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Ulta, CVS) and co-packers • Manage returns, credits, and customer complaints • Handle order status updates and shipping confirmations • Stay up to date on the full product line to support customer inquiries Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required • 3+ years in a customer service or order management role with retail accounts • 2+ years of experience in team leadership or supervisory support (preferred) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word • Experience with EDI and ERP systems (Sage preferred) • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Experience working with major retailers such as Target, Ulta, or CVS • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Positive, team-first attitude and high level of professionalism Benefits • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) • Short and Long-Term Disability • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Floating Holidays, Public Holidays) • Family Leave • Training and Development Opportunities • Flexible Hybrid Work Schedule (Tues–Thurs onsite) • Dog-Friendly Office This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a values-driven team that celebrates diversity, creativity, and service excellence.
