Customer Support Associate

Customer Service Representative (Temp-to-Perm) Location:Bronx, NY Pay Rate:$22-$24 DOE We’re seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual for a temporary-to-permanent Customer Service Representative role. This position requires someone who is skilled in problem-solving, able to handle customer inquiries, and capable of providing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of company policies and product knowledge to deliver quick, accurate, and efficient customer support.Must be able to work initial 4 week training period (Mon-Fri, 10 AM - 7 PM EST) & then transition to regular schedule (Sun-Thurs, 11 AM - 8 PM EST). Key Responsibilities: • Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and voicemail, and process orders. • Generate production reports and notify customers of out-of-stock items or discrepancies, offering substitutions. • Collaborate with outside sales and ensure smooth communication with customers. • Assist with special orders, credit processing, and AR/AP functions. • Provide backup support during absences and assist with team tasks as needed. • Attend sales meetings and contribute to additional projects. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher education is a plus. • Must be able to work initial 6 week training period (Mon-Fri, 10 AM - 7 PM EST) & then transition to regular schedule (Sun-Thurs, 11 AM - 8 PM EST) • Minimum of 3-4 years in customer service or sales roles. • Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus). • Proficient in technology and computer systems; experience with Canopy is a plus. • A team player with a positive attitude and strong multitasking abilities. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism. This is a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
