Job Description

Our company is seeking a dedicated and experiencedManagerto lead our growingplumbing department.This multi-faceted role is central to our organization and offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and training our plumbing technicians. This includes assessing customer needs and helping provide quotes for a range of possible solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest levels of home comfort service and value, and we are looking for someone who can help us continue to fulfill this promise. Compensation We offer a strong salary ranging up to $115k, quarterly bonus, and benefits! Responsibilities β€’ Design and oversee the program for both plumbing service and installation, ensuring its continued enhancement over time. β€’ Train and mentor existing and newly hired plumbing technicians and sales staff. β€’ Provide personalized skills and career development paths for our technicians and apprentices. β€’ Identify technical weaknesses in trainees and provide support and solutions. β€’ Participate in the development of training programs and supporting materials. β€’ Interview and hire new technicians in collaboration with the recruiting coordinator. β€’ Ensure shop tools and equipment are properly used and maintained. β€’ Assist sales staff with design, layout, equipment, and material selections when needed. β€’ Conduct home visits, create written proposals, and present contracted work to customers in a sales role. Qualifications β€’ Previous management, teaching, or trainer experience is preferred. β€’ Experience in residential plumbing maintenance and repair is a plus. β€’ Licensed plumber is a plus. β€’ Strong leadership, initiative, motivation, creativity, and patience. β€’ Excellent written and oral communication skills. β€’ Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. β€’ Strong planning and organizational skills. β€’ Experience in facilitating product and technical training. β€’ Proficiency in Windows, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
