E-mail Security Engineer

• Experience with Proofpoint (TAP, EFD, TRAP), Mimecast and O365 email security platforms.
• Analyze, implement and review email security and email routing solutions such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC.
• Manage inbound and outbound security rules for email (filtering, whitelists, spam, etc)
• Provide inputs on messaging initiatives, maintain email security infrastructure, and deploy security controls to manage and mitigate risks.
• Maintain email security infrastructure, providing stability by developing tools, policies, processes, and procedures for the operations teams.

Infrastructure

• Testing of security standards for active directory and working with IT partners for validation and deployment.
• Provide Active Directory lifecycle plans and hardening activities.
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
• Provide engineering leadership and oversight for security problems within the enterprise data network.

General

• Develop metrics (KPI/KRI) capabilities; create, review, maintain and update documentation.
• Escalate and liaise with additional internal/external groups when required.
• Input into Business Continuity Planning and Practices.

Must-Have*

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in Information/Cyber Security field
• Minimum 5 years experience as an engineer or administrator of enterprise security technology platform

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience with one or more enterprise security platforms
• Experience as an engineer in the design, implementation and support in a complete enterprise IT environment
• Knowledge of secure build and configuration standards in a highly regulated environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Including a strong ability to create positive and professional business relationships with partner engineering and architecture teams across IT
• Strong commitment to working as a team and providing excellent customer service.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field preferred
• Security certifications (CISSP, GSEC, etc.) are preferred.
• System administration certifications (CCNA, MCSA, etc.) Preferred
• Formalized training and mastery in security platform or product
