Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator /Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical estimating, engineering, and project management, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires effective communication, leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. Duties • Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and closing. • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to define project scope and objectives. • Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. • Utilize Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration. • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. • Conduct construction site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards. • Prepare accurate construction estimates and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle. • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms. • Lead project meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and foster teamwork. • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes. Skills • Proficiency in Bluebeam for project documentation management. • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. • In-depth knowledge of NEC regulations and electrical systems. • Experience in construction site management and safety protocols. • Expertise in construction estimating techniques for accurate budgeting. • Ability to control costs effectively while maintaining quality standards. • Strong negotiation skills to manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams. • A proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
