Job Duties and Responsibilities EchoStarhas an exciting opportunity for anElectricianin ourHughes Network Systemsdivision. This position will be located at our office inNorth Las Vegas. Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and test electrical systems including defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using test instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, and voltmeter. • Complete daily maintenance checks and work assignments, general duties include installation of motors, transformer, lighting fixtures, cable tray and complete circuits according to diagram specifications and Blue Prints. • Complete work as required in a craftsmen like manner in conformance with requirements of local building and NEC codes as well as company specifications • Additional duties may include general building maintenance. • Typical Shift work Monday – Friday and may require some nights, weekends, and Holidays. • Required on call rotation support. Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • Current Journeyman electrical license. • 2 years Commercial and/or industrial experience Skills and Qualifications: • Excellent conduit bending skills. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using computer • Ability work independently and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
