SeaSpine's Events Associate will assist the events team with planning and logistics for events, which includes a variety of events that fall under the overall portfolio. They will primarily support COAST events and other in-house events such as PD visits. The Events Associate will also drive value across the organization by enhancing the experience of the surgeons and distributors who participate in our programs.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supports all aspects of the event logistical plan, including but not limited to:

    • Creation of documentation required for events: agendas, travel itineraries, attendee profiles
    • Travel logistics arrangements as needed per event. Flights, ground transportation, hotel
    • Scheduling support teams, meeting space and other key stakeholders per event
    • Meal arrangements per event
    • Pre-event meeting space preparation
    • On-site event support

  • Timely and professional communication with all meeting stakeholders
  • Reconciles invoices and expenses
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Legal, Accounting and Marketing Services teams and outside vendors
  • Develops strong working relationships with surgeon customers, sales management, internal partners, and distributors
  • Adheres to industry, company, and other governing policies with respect to show giveaways, physician events, dinners, receptions, promotions, market research, physician payments etc.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned


Who you are:

  • Associates Degree
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in events, hospitality, or administrative role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of projects / programs in a cross-functional, geographically dispersed environment in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and interpersonal skills with proven ability to interface at all levels
  • Proven ability to work both independently and on a team
  • Must exhibit superior organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to acknowledge and resolve problems providing expedient solutions in a professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with staff (at all levels) and customers in a fast-paced environment, sometimes while under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence others
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, Senior Leadership, customers and vendors
  • Must demonstrate a proactive approach to "managing" both internal and external customers, such as ensuring that they register on time
  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and prioritize projects to achieve established goals and objectives
  • Ability to work with, coach, and mentor team members
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced team-oriented work environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to promote cooperation and teamwork among team members
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems / issues as they arise
  • Ability to work overtime as required, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to obtain a current global passport (can obtain when hired) and travel internationally
  • Must be able to travel via car and / or airplane; travel 10-20%
