Your role and responsibilities

Objective of the job:

Execution Buyer - main responsibilities are to guarantee placement of Purchase Order (PO) and delivery of spare parts.

Responsibilities:

The Execution Buyer must ensure all parts will be shipped on the delivery date shown in the PO and escalate if necessary in order to guarantee continuity of supply.
- PO types: Delivery responsibility includes SAP POs for INEW (including Rework) IREP and IWAR POs.

- Integrate with supplier TLS Supply Chain warehouse procurement logistics and engineer team will also support activities/functions related to the return of material to suppliers for repair or to claim.
- Orderbook management: Close communication with supplier to guarantee Purchase Order has been received and delivery date will be met
- Manage new buy rework repair and warranty order
- Monitor and report delivery status and escalate supply issues at vendor and internally and involving other team in order to solve any issue until the parts arrive
- Handle/avoid incoming receiving issues.
- Manage PO changes (qty price delivery dates)
- Participate in invoice problem handling: check and resolve problem invoice list blocked invoices received not billed items
- Initiate expedite payments as needed
- Critical Parts: Responsible for expediting critical parts (when requested / pointed out by TLS Supply Chain)
- PO creation: Create Purchase Orders to external suppliers and IBM manufacturing plants’
- Bids: to bid parts out when there is no contract in place and there is urgent/one time need.
- Supplier performance: Manage suppliers’ on time ship performance (OTSP) for key suppliers and work on action plan for recovery
- Business projects / transformation: support new TLS projects and transformations
- Reports/Metrics: Comply and provide status on KPI of past due & unplaced PO and R-block invoices
- Support activities: Payments credits Logistics/Importation End of life / Obsolete PN/ LTB (last time buy EC(engineer change) NPI (new product introduction).
