Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and metal fabrication, with the ability to produce high-quality work from blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine material requirements and fabrication processes. - Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG) on various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. - Set up, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment. - Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using tools such as saws, shears, and presses. - Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards. - Repair and modify metal structures and components as required. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. - Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. - Work effectively and efficiently. This is a fast-paced organization as our projects have a quick turnaround time. Requirements - Proven experience as a welder and fabricator in a FAST-paced CUSTOM fabrication shop. · 4 Years Preferred - Background in exhibit/trade show industry is a plus. - Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) and fabrication processes. - Ability to weld carbon steel and aluminum (Ability to weld stainless steel is a plus) - Ability to weld thin wall tubing/sheet metal - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. - Strong attention to detail and precision in work. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Commitment to workplace safety and quality. - Be willing to work overtime & weekends if necessary.
