Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry with expertise in trim carpentry and remodeling. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for the final touches on construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' expectations. Your craftsmanship will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities • Execute precise trim carpentry tasks, including installation of moldings, baseboards, and door casings. • Perform restoration work on existing structures to enhance their appearance and longevity. • Install siding and roofing components with attention to detail and quality standards. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various carpentry tasks. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including those skilled in masonry and metal stud framing, to ensure cohesive project execution. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and timelines. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. • Proficiency in trim carpentry techniques and familiarity with various materials used in finish work. • Knowledge of stucco application techniques is a plus. • Ability to weld is advantageous for certain projects requiring metalwork integration. • Experience with roofing systems, siding installation, and masonry work is preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for delivering high-quality results. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
