Furnace Operator

Job title:Furnace Entry and Experience / Furnace Department Entry level pay:$18.60 to $21.63 Experience level pay:$21.63 to $25.48 Job details: · 8-hour shift · Hourly · Overtime available · Full-time – 40 hours / week Benefits: · Health benefits · 401k · Yearly raises · Vacation pay · Holiday pay · Sick pay · Work advancement available Work experience requirements: · One (1) year experience. · Able to perform duties with minimal supervision. · Keeps work area clean and organized to ensure safety and environmental compliance. Education requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent training. Job description and duties: · Loads and unloads controlled atmospheric brazing and heat-treating furnaces. · Operates control equipment, pyrometers, vacuum controllers, and hydrogen drying equipment. · Correlates work and process requirements using manual or automatic control equipment. · Maintains log for furnace runs, shift production, quality control recordings, and maintenance schedules. · Assures proper maintenance of equipment, furnace fixtures, hydrogen storage, and supply, and all pressure, electric or electronic gages.
