This role will be based in Salt Lake City (US).

This successful candidate will be responsible to provide a strategic perspective, show sound business judgment, build collaborative cross domain partnerships, and deliver on core business goals. The position requires a deep understanding of analytics and how to make data driven decisions to identify, evaluate, and implement Business Rule strategies.
Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting our Global Teams and Stakeholders
• Partners effectively and maintains strong relationship with Policy, Customer Operations and a global cross functional team to keep questionable listing and selling activity at manageable levels
• Trains and supports downstream teams and assists peers and colleagues on the Global Business Rules Team
• Promotes best practice sharing across global teams as well as within own function, supporting shared learning
• Rule Creation, Innovation and Maintenance:
• Organizes, documents and simplifies rules
• Conducts statistical analysis and research to identify new and emerging trends
• Assists in maintaining rule platform, deploying rule sets, and triaging and tracking bugs
• Leads complex projects including collaboration with business unit, product management and GCX
• Make sound decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure, and is not afraid to challenge the status quo
• Is a go-to person for any technical queries

Job Requirements

• Proven analytical skills and is able to define & clearly articulate success by metrics and data driven measurements
• Strong SQL, Excel PivotTable, and other data visualization experience. At least some basic skills honed in SAS, R, etc and/or ability to build useful tools for the group.
• Excellent presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of eBay's policies, tools, systems
• Team Player - Can be agile and flexible in fast-changing and undefined situations
• Self Starter - Ability to work effectively in an autonomous fashion, and willingness to enable the success of stakeholders worldwide
• Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver executive level summary reports and presentations

Education & Certification

Bachelor's Degree, PMP or PRINCE2, Six Sigma, Agile or other certifications a plus
