Make an Impact

Fossil Group is looking for a passionate, communicative, and proactive Email & CRM Marketing Strategist to develop CRM plans and strategy and execution for specified owned brands.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage Global Marketing CRM direction, Integrated Marketing Roadmap, and Global Promotion Calendar to develop CRM (email) strategy and personalization optimizations based on performance goals and campaign analysis:
    • Build Monthly Email Calendar
    • Create full email direction for copy and design with in-house partners
    • Manage frequency of message (brand vs. promotion vs. localization)
    • Audience segmentation
    • Channel-specific content storytelling opportunities
    • Work with Global and Integrated Marketing to bring key messages to life and ensure email strategy fits within larger brand strategy.
    • Provide detailed weekly reporting based on post campaign analysis
  • Successfully oversee build and deployment for all email campaigns, ensuring each campaign has appropriate levers:
    • QA Email- Email build integrity and functionality (links, coding, SFMC content builder, etc.)
    • Approve tests proofs (w/ CRM Manager)
    • Frequency
    • Date/ Time, STO
  • Audience targeting/ suppression
    • Manage any segmentation/ list management requests for automation and audience targeting
    • Find testing opportunities to continuously hone our email audiences so the right emails are going to the right customers
    • Plan and execute audience targeting based on overall Business Strategy provided by leadership
  • Collaborate with CRM leadership on automated lifecycle journeys / trigger-based emails
    • Global to provide roadmap and build journey automation templates
    • Region to request needed journeys (outside of proposed roadmap) and test/ approve all journeys as well as provide regional-led input (including approved promotions as applicable)
  • Own weekly performance analytics & insights and share key learnings within the omni-channel performance meetings, analytical resources include: GA 360, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable INK Personalization, and Test and Learn
    • Global to provide analytics roadmap and automate reporting
    • Region to request additional reporting needs (as applicable), review, analyze and report out insights
  • Develop Test and Learn strategy based on business needs, revenue goals, and opportunities identified in post campaign analysis
    • Develop Test hypothesis and identify key metric you are looking to impact/maintain
    • Review test with CRM Data Analytics to ensure test integrity and duration
    • Execute A/B tests and determine how winners affect email strategy.
    • Plan test and testing period, on email calendar and develop and execute test direction for test and help to build/partner with Movable Ink
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global teams, vendors/ partners, and cross-functional departments
  • Closely monitor industry changes/ trends and translate those into proactive, actionable recommendations for NAM and share those opportunities with Global teams as appropriate

Your Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or other related field
  • 2-3 years of experience of CRM marketing experience
  • You love digging to find optimizations and streamline processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Charismatic and caring teammate who is ready to be all hands on deck when needed
  • Strong desire to succeed and find new ways to grow the business
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills
  • Extremely proactive and understands the ever evolving retail industry and is ready to pivot
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational and team management skills
  • Ability to look at detailed campaign performance one minute and zoom out to see holistic marketing experience and vision next minute
