Graphic Designer - Contract

OVERVIEW

Movement Strategy is an independent social media agency. Now at its 13-year, with 100+ employees across offices, we produce groundbreaking content for partners including Netflix, Klarna, Amazon Prime Video, WarnerBros., and HBO Max.  

Movement Strategy is seeking a Graphic Designer (Contract) to drive content creation with a specific focus on social first creative and design. You’ll work closely with art directors, creative directors and copywriters to bring concepts to life from both a strategic and executional perspective. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the digital and social media space as well as a love of social and design trends. We are looking for someone with agency experience working on large brands and experience designing for the social space.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Designer at Movement, you’ll work closely with our full creative team to execute and shepherd through creative content. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Creating static and motion content for social channels including TikTok, Twitter, Instagram Facebook and YouTube
• Translating social trends into social content ideas
• Expanding on / Developing new design systems
• Executing on larger, campaign-level ideas and content

REQUIREMENTS 

• 3–5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Minimum two years agency experience preferred
• Strong content design skills including typography, layout, photo editing and compositing
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
• Experience with Premiere or 3D Software a plus
• A knowledge of the creative process, especially social content creation
• Ability to work from idea to execution and distribution
