Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept. Duties • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. • Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently, ensuring all rooms and common areas are clean and organized. • Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and ready for use. • Provide floor care services, including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance. • Cook simple meals when required, adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences as necessary. • Respond promptly to customer requests and inquiries with a friendly demeanor. • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Experience • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong understanding of sanitization practices and the importance of cleanliness in maintaining health standards. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. • Experience in housekeeping management is a plus, showcasing leadership abilities in organizing cleaning tasks. • Familiarity with custodial duties including waste disposal, recycling practices, and maintenance of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
