HVAC Mechanic

Summary We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our dedicated team at Shannondell at Valley Forge. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the comfort of our residents by ensuring all HVAC systems operate efficiently. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing a high-quality living environment. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. • Troubleshoot HVAC issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute installations accurately. • Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns. • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address property-wide service needs. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all HVAC operations. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. • Provide excellent customer service to residents regarding HVAC inquiries. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred. • Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics. • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and refrigerants. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
