Introduction to Role
The IBM Financing Pricing Team develops and manages pricing strategies for IBM’s financing solutions. We collaborate with sales and other finance functions to structure competitive profitable deals that meet client needs while ensuring compliance and supporting FiTTER’s mission to protect manage and grow IBM’s Free Cash Flow.
- Work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to support IBM sales opportunities by partnering closely with sales teams and leaders.
- Provide transactional pricing analysis considering cost drivers risk elements timelines contract terms and compliance with the Pricing Approval Matrix.
- Support sales teams in pricing strategies that balance client needs with IBM’s financial objectives.
- Ensure compliance with processes and business controls delivering accurate and complete documentation.
- Proactively search for ways to streamline processes and improve financial outcomes driving efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate across multiple functions (sales finance offerings management) to ensure end-to-end pricing strategy alignment.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance and Operations (IBM or equivalent in other organizations).
- Strong financial and analytical capability : ability to interpret complex financial data assess deal profitability understand cash flow implications for data-driven decision-making.
- Japanese Language Proficiency (Speaking & Writing is a must.
- Communication and influencing skills : able to clearly articulate recommendations negotiate effectively and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
