As a Senior Business Planning Analyst at IBM Malaysia you will play a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making by delivering data-driven insights developing financial models and producing business forecasts. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to evaluate performance identify growth opportunities and support the creation of annual plans and budgets.
You will work closely with local finance teams the Finance Controller and CFO to drive IBM's financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis.
- Analyze forecasts budgets actual results and key business metrics.
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to gather inputs and understand cost/revenue drivers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or related disciplines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Japanese proficiency level - Minimum N2 level
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
- 3 to 5 years working experience in related roles.
