Injection Mold Supervisor

Position: Injection Mold Supervisor Department: Production FLSA: Exempt Location: Hutto, Texas Company Overview: Seoyon E-Hwa Texas is a top-rated automotive parts manufacturing company specializing in interior automotive parts utilizing precision injection molding solutions. Dedicated to innovation and excellence, our primary focus involves offering Tier 1 manufacturing support to the automotive OEM’s. As we expand our operations, we are searching for a talented and experienced Injection Mold Supervisor to ensure the production of high quality interior automotive parts at their new Hutto TX location. Summary of position: Success in this role will primarily be measured by providing leadership, direction and development of the Injection department team members. The ideal candidate will participate in leading teams throughout the various stages of the injection process, from preparation to completion to meet the company’s quality and efficiency standards. The candidate may operate machinery, assemble products, monitor the production process and ensure quality control standards are maintained. They will have the ability to adapt to changing business needs, leverage data analytics, prioritize workload and build effective relationships with department leaders and team members. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams such as inventory, quality, maintenance and shipping and receiving to ensure products are of the highest quality. The Injection Mold Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of injection molding equipment. This role may involve assisting with performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing molds and related machinery to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production. Responsibilities · Plan, coordinate and manage the daily production activities and staffing assignments · Prioritize production schedules based on customer requirements, equipment efficiency, inventory and staff utilization · Direct and maintain workflow by monitoring the production process · Identify and develop team member skills and strengths to maximize production output · Supervise, motivate, counsel, coach and discipline team members as needed · Clearly communicate job expectations, priorities and deadlines to production members · Assist in the development of training materials and oversee the training of new production staff to maintain an environment of continuous learning · Confirm team members adhere to and comply with company policies and procedures and safety regulations · Track KPI’s and identify areas of improvement in the production process · Identify bottlenecks in the production process and provide solutions · Assist in identifying mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on injection molding machines and coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure proper and efficient equipment operation, preventing extended downtime · Perform additional related tasks as needed to maintain an efficient and effective work environment · Provide technical support and training for team members as required Qualifications · 3+ years of experience working with injection molding machines • Skill in balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results · Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail · Must demonstrate a sense of urgency · Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations Benefits · Medical · Dental · Vision · 401K · STD/LTD · Life Insurance · Paid Time Off Pay range for this position is between $65,000-$70,000 depending on experience Seoyon E-Hwa Texas Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
